Biography

Yoselin Romero Jorge is an advocate for joy as a form of resistance, drawing inspiration from her Mexican roots and her upbringing in Newton Grove, North Carolina. She imagines homes and communities as places where people can show up authentically through art, education, and love. A senior at UNC-Chapel Hill, Yoselin is majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Latine Studies. She is excited to join the LatinxEd team as a way to give back to the community that has supported her since her time as a CyC student.
