A proud 2025 LatinxEd Fellow, Dr. Stephanie Hernandez Rivera serves as an Assistant Professor at Elon University, where her teaching and scholarship center on the experiences, identity development, and resistance strategies of People of Color in education, with a particular focus on Women of Color. Beyond the classroom, she actively contributes to several higher education professional associations, helping advance more inclusive and supportive learning environments. Through her research, leadership, and commitment to students, she is dedicated to strengthening higher education and creating spaces where historically underrepresented communities can thrive.
