
Born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina, Josephine G. Santiago-Juarez is the proud daughter of Mexican parents and a dedicated advocate for her Latine community. A junior at UNC-Chapel Hill, she is double majoring in Psychology and Human Development and Family Science, with a strong interest in supporting students’ social-emotional well-being and advancing more equitable educational experiences for Latine families. Josephine aspires to become a school psychologist and help build school-based systems where students feel seen, supported, and empowered.
