Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Clayton, North Carolina, Brenda Medina is a first-generation college graduate and passionate advocate for the Latino community. As the Associate Director of Communications and Community Engagement at LatinxEd, she combines her expertise in digital storytelling and advocacy to support Latine families and promote equitable access to education. Brenda’s journey, shaped by her experiences as the eldest daughter of immigrants and a DACA recipient, fuels her commitment to empowering disadvantaged communities. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Campbell University and an MBA from the University of Mount Olive, and her work spans legal advocacy, community leadership, and communications.
